Economic Development
State and municipal economic development agencies often have a number of challenging properties in their area. Pownal Development Corporation welcomes these challenges. Usually a difficult property can benefit from our hands on approach, skills, and stamina to stay with a project. Many times these properties are not attracting a user because they are in a state of property tax arrearage, in a state of bankruptcy, suspected of being environmentally contaminated, or for any number of other reasons are not attractive to a user. Property suffering from these and other problems are usually being underutilized or have simply been abandoned. Pownal Development Corporation will cooperate and partner with municipal entities in an effort to revitalize properties that can support a vision for reuse.
